"Kitchen" - By Ramesh Jhawar
The painting depicts a traditional Indian (Rajasthani) village woman busy preparing food for her family.Usually in Indian villages, houses have mud floors and open spaces for kitchen- like you see here.
In the background an earthen 'chulha' ( stove) can be seen.
