Oil in primed paper (14" x 11")
Painting a self portrait can be a sureshot way of saving the money spent on the model. Here I have attempted to do just that. This was painted in one evening sitting in front of the mirror and painting from life. I plan to do some more of these in varied lighting situations.
All suggestions and comments are most welcome.

You have caught your personality so well in this portrait, so it is a winner! I especially like the transparency of the glasses and the beautiful play of light and shadow.
