One of the interesting sculpture that caught my attention at the Angkorwat, Cambodia was the churning of the ocean by the Devas. I tried to do a figurative abstract out of it by making use of the artist freedom, just taking the faces and the perspective in to account. I have shared the photo that I took when I visited the place. I used 3 canvasses of 24 " by 48 " to get a big view.
i think this is really creative padmaja! i love this painting!!!! r they in separate pieces or joined?
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful painting. I Like the concep very much and so is the idea on painting it on seperate canvases . Each will speak for it self.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and wow..large. I've never worked this large.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow. Three canvases painted together as one painting is called a 'triptych' painting. This triptych must be looking very impressive in real life.
ReplyDeleteI like the smiles that you have captured so well.
Thanks for the comments on my blog Padmaja. I have come to know so many wonderful Indian artists because of you. I am still exploring this blog.
