trees n more by Ajay Patil


Otherday I was clearing my cupboard and realized I have pile of paintings,few "ok"ones and many "not so good" ones. time to shred them.

This is one such "just ok" painting ,watercolor done few wks back, plein air.

    Thanks Indu. I siad its "just ok" because it has some composition and technical problems

    I am not technically good, so dont know much about it. Looking good to my eyes!
    I usually literally shred my not good ones and make a collage of them, dont want to waste my energy spent:-)

    Padmaja-making collage is good idea. I shread them and throw in bin. One of my artist friend (he is fulltime artist)burns his not so good paintings in Holi every year.

    Thats a fine painting, Ajay.The subdued colors add to its rustic charms.As for 'not so good' ones, I never had heart to shred any of them...I keep them all!
